History

As founders of this new show in Florida, we have been collectors and enthusiasts of antique and vintage toys and advertising for over 40 years. We have had the opportunity to travel the Midwest and the east coast while attending various shows and auctions. In the process we have met many interesting individuals, quite a few Floridians, and have learned so much along the way.

Visiting with our friends and other vendors, we have often discussed the lack of antique and vintage toy shows in Florida. Most everyone expressed an interest in a Florida winter show, especially since they already spend time there in January and February.

The Lake County Expo Hall and Fairgrounds, the venue for our 1st annual show, is located in central Florida within easy access of Florida major cities and to Renningers’ antique center and extravaganza in November, January and February. We are the perfect location and the perfect time to spend in Florida – especially at a toy show the weekend before the February Renningers’ extravaganza featuring all of their antiques. We are also close to theme parks, the ocean and the gulf.

A Central Florida Antique and Vintage Toy and Advertising Show just seems to be the right thing to do. What’s not to love!

Our 1st Annual Show will be on February 7 and 8, 2020 and we look forward to welcoming old and new friends. We invite you to help us foster, encourage, promote and develop interest in perpetuating the value and appreciation of the history of toys and advertising.
